Tips:

  • There are a few ways to check out the glacier – you can walk a short distance to a lookout overlooking the glacier and stream heading out from it. If you have more time, it’s worth hiking up to the face of the glacier and get better views of the various waterfalls originating within the glacier. An even better way to check out the glacier is to hike the ridge to the left of the glacier all the way up to see the source ice field feeding it. This is a steep hike, but surprisingly short for how quickly you can get to the top.
