Hike Hidden Creek Trail, Cooper Landing

What: The hidden creek trail is an amazing trail that goes down to Skilak lake near cooper landing. It’s a roughly 3 mile out and back trail and is rated as moderate.

When to go: Ideally accessed in the peak summer months between June and September.

Tips:

• The road turns into a gravel road when turning off the main highway, but is easily done by most cars. The parking lot at the trailhead is not that big, but you should be able to find parking.
• The best part of the trail is the end when you get to skilak lake. The views on a sunny day are incredible, and it’s worth bringing a picnic lunch to soak in the views for a while. If you’re into camping, you can find a few spots along the trail to camp as well.
