Hike or Bike Hemlock Burn Trail, Anchorage
What: One of the newest and best trails to experience the amazing mountain bike scene in Anchorage. The trail is mostly downhill and is open to bikers, hikers, and skiiers.
When to go: Worth checking out year round with mountain biking or hiking in the summer, or fat biking or skiing in the winter.

Tips:
- The trail starts at the glenalps parking lot and ends near the prospect heights trailhead. Either shuttle to glenalps to enjoy a fun ride down, or start at prospect, bike up south fork rim, and down hemlock burn.
- The trail is mostly downhill, with a few short uphill sections. There are multiple jumps to enjoy near the bottom half of the trail.
- There are amazing views of the Anchorage bowl to enjoy from the trail, particularly from the bottom half of the trail.
