Tips:

  • To save some time, you can bike from the flat top parking down the powerline trail. Once you reach the intersection to take a left on the trail, you can park your bike and chain it to a bike rack. From there start hiking up the valley up towards the wedge. You’ll see the “wedge” looking peak to your right.
  • Approach all the way up the valley going east until you make it to the top of the pass. From there, turn right and head up the mountain to the top of the wedge. Once you get to the top, you have an option to complete a loop or head back the way you came. The loop adds a bit more adventure, but be warned that you’ll be rock scrambling across some narrow & steep sections.
  • For a longer day, you can also add the “ramp” peak to your hike – this is directly across from the wedge, and can be accessed by taking a left once you get to the pass at the top of hidden valley.
